The battle between the two biggest footballing games on the planet is always one that sports fans will be keeping an eye on.
However, this season, both games have achieved their fair share of success. Pro Evolution’s gamble in getting the license for Juventus seems to have been fruitful as they have exceeded the sales over FIFA in Italy according to GameStop.
However, while the most recent instalment of PES may have reached the goals that they have set, they are still trailing behind FIFA in the traditional battle between the games. The EA Sports release remained stable after their strong early sales and is now celebrating reaching ten million sales.
The latest game does feel like slight progress has been made, and it has taken them just three weeks to reach the ten million sales threshold. To celebrate the landmark, EA has given players that entered the game before the 17th October 8,000 VOLTA coins to customise their avatar.
The jury remains out over which game is superior, but it does appear that the battle is heating up again.
